Open Pyrguard
Go to pyrguard.net in Chrome or Edge. Nothing to download and nothing to install — it runs in your browser.
- 02
Create your account
Click “Check an assessment”, enter your work email and choose a password.
- You will receive a confirmation email — click the link in it to activate the account.
- If it has not arrived after a couple of minutes, check your junk or spam folder.
- Already registered? Use “Forgot password?” on the sign-in form to set a new one.
- 03
Choose the building type
Start a new check and pick the building type first — office, HMO, care home, high-rise residential, school, and so on. This is required, because it decides which standards and legislation the document is audited against.
- 04
Upload the assessment
Drag the file onto the upload panel, or click it to browse. PDF, Word (.docx) and plain text are all accepted, including scanned PDFs — these are read using text recognition in your browser.
- 05
Run the validation
Click “Run validation”. The button turns green while the audit is running. A typical assessment takes a minute or two — leave the tab open.
- 06
Read your report
The report follows the document from front to back, so you can work through it alongside the original.
- Every comment references the section and page it relates to.
- Findings are rated, with a confidence level on each one.
- Dates, signatures, tick boxes and incomplete sections are checked.
- Risk ratings are challenged where they look too harsh or too lenient.
- Export the report as a PDF to share or file.
